Why should you choose Voice Mail from ITC? Voice Mail offers reliability. When the power goes out, your Voice Mail still works! No more dealing with broken answering machines. And Voice Mail takes messages while you are on the Internet or on another call.
With Voice Mail, incoming calls to your line are forwarded to a "mailbox" in our voice mail system when your line is busy and/or when the call is not answered after a certain number of rings that you choose. You then record a personal greeting, or choose a standard greeting, and callers leave you a message that you can access from any phone.
Residential packages include 3 minutes maximum message length per caller (20 minutes of total message storage), 5 days storage retention period for played or undeleted messages, indefinite storage retention period for unplayed messages and message waiting indicator. You may add an additional 10 minutes of total message storage (for a total of 30 minutes) for an additional $1.55 per month.
Optional Voice Mail Services:
Sub-mailbox: $1.00 per mailbox
A "subdirectory" mailbox that can be added to the primary mailbox on your line. This provides secure reception, storage, and retrieval of messages for other people in your household, with the use of password protection.
Teen/Easy Line Service with Voice Mail:
$3.95 for lines 1 and 2, $5.50 for lines 3 & 4
Teen Service gives you a second phone number that rings differently on your home phone so you can always tell when the call is for your teen. Teen Service with Voice Mail forwards the secondary number to a voice mailbox with announcements and messages separate from any mailboxes that may exist on your primary line.
Remote Notification: $1.00
This option notifies you if you receive a message by calling a different phone number (like a cell phone) to let you know.
Call Reminder: $.50
Call Reminder allows you to record a message, up to three (3) minutes in length, to be delivered within the next thirty (30) days. The message can be delivered to your own mailbox, to any telephone or cellular number, or to telephone numbers on a Group Distribution List.
Broadcast Messaging: $2.00
Using Broadcast Messaging, a customer can send a message to all Voice Mail users within a predefined group. Each group is assigned a unique broadcast mailbox number at the time it is set up. The sender logs on to the broadcast mailbox for a desired group, and only the users in this customer group will receive the message
Announcement Only Service: $10.00
Announcement Only Service provides a dedicated telephone number and associated announcement. The Announcement Only mailbox answers incoming calls with a user programmable message. This service does not receive and save callers’ messages. Disconnection will occur immediately upon completion of message delivery.
Additional business voice mail services are available. Please call for information.
This service converts your ITC voice mail messages into audio files and then emails it to one or more of your email addresses. You can save the audio message to your computer’s hard drive in order to keep messages for future reference. You can also use the save or delete links within the message to remove the message indication from the line without having to call into ITC’s Voice Mail system. You must first subscribe to ITC Voice Mail for $3.95/month and then add Voice Mail to E-mail for an additional $2/month.
The number of the calling party is displayed when the telephone rings on a specially equipped telephone or accessory display.
Your telephone number and directory name can be blocked when you place a call so that parties using Caller ID service and equipment will not be able to view this information. Instead, the receiving party’s display will read, "Private." There are two options available, and Per Call Blocking is the standard option on your line unless you specifically request Per Line Blocking:
Your number and name are not blocked unless you activate the blocking code (*67) before placing a call. The blocking action remains active for that call only. You can use Per Call Blocking as often as you wish.
Eliminates missed calls by alerting you to additional incoming calls during existing conversation.
With Call Forwarding, you can forward your calls to another phone or your wireless phone when you've got to go, or when your line is busy and you can't answer. And, you can forward your calls to another phone when you're on vacation or away from home. This protects you, because no one will ever know that you're not at home. Great for businesses, people with wireless phones and people who travel or who are away from home often.
Add a third party to your two-way conversation. Also adds capability for Call Waiting customer to cancel Call Waiting while on a call.
intercepts calls that are delivered as "unknown" or "out of area" to your line, informing the caller that you do not accept calls from telemarketers.
Automatic Recall is an incoming call management feature that informs you of the number of the last incoming call and gives you the option to automatically dial that number. Blocked numbers will not be revealed to you, but the feature will place the call for you if desired.
When you activate Automatic Callback, the system automatically attempts to place a call to the last number dialed for up to 30 minutes, if desired. This outgoing call management feature lets you continue with other tasks while trying to contact someone.
Define a list of telephone numbers whose calls you wish to ring with a distinctive ringing pattern (two short rings) when your number is called, so you can identify who is calling by the sound of the ring. This pattern also applies to the Call Waiting tone, if you are a subscriber of Call Waiting.
Anonymous Call Rejection allows you to reject calls from callers who have intentionally blocked their number/name display information from reaching your Caller ID display. Only blocked calls are rejected, and routed to an announcement.
Define a list of telephone numbers you wish to receive calls from. Any call attempts from telephone numbers that are not included on that list will be routed to an announcement and rejected.
Define a list of telephone numbers from which you do not wish to receive calls. Calls originating from numbers that are on that list will be routed to an announcement and rejected.
Teen Line service enables an extra "teen" number to be assigned to a single-party line. The teen number rings with a unique ringing pattern and Call Waiting pattern so that those in your household can determine the intended destination of the call. The Teen Line number is listed beneath your directory number in the telephone book as "Teen Line."
A second number is assigned to a single-party business line providing a distinctive ring, either to identify calls intended for a second business entity sharing a line on the same premise, or to be used for automatically switching calls, using customer-supplied equipment that recognizes and routes calls via distinct ringing patterns, to a device such as a fax machine, modem, or telephone.
